Spring has sprung and so have the seeds of change in our provincial parks.  There are lots of changes that have and continue to occur throughout our provincial parks since the end of the 2015 camping season.  Arrow Lakes – Shelter Bay Site has had a complete make-over including the development of a new floating dock and break-water, large new day-use parking lot for boat trailers, installation of new washroom facilities and all of the campsites re-developed.  At Blanket Creek Park, construction is under way for the addition of 42 new campsites; many along the waterfront, new toilet/shower building (2017), and two new group site areas.  At Martha Creek Park, a new sani station will be installed this September 2016.

McDonald Creek Park is open and fully operational.  Martha Creek Park, Summit Lake Park and Rosebery Park are all scheduled to open Friday May 6th.  Due to the ongoing construction, Blanket Creek Park and Arrow Lakes Park – Shelter Bay Site  have had their openings delayed until May 13th.
