We are pleased to announce that the camping season has begun. On May 01, both McDonald Creek Park and Arrow Lakes Park (Shelter Bay site) officially opened for the 2015 camping season. Come and visit the new facilities at McDonald Creek Park which include new 30 and 50 amp power campsites (site #s 1 to 18), new sani-dump station, and new wash house and shower building. At Shelter Bay, BC Hydro is planning on upgrading the boat launch with a new floating breakwater, repairs to the boat ramp and pull out pods. Expected completion won’t be until the spring of 2016.
Martha Creek Park will be open at the latest by May 08 as will Rosebery Park. Finally Blanket Creek Park and Summit Lake Park will be open at the latest by May 15. We also hope to have these parks open by May 08 and will update. Get prepared for a great camping season. Come out and test you camping equipment now in one of our open parks.
